I am a freelance picture researcher with over 20 years' experience in educational, academic, fine art and general book publishing.  I research and obtain images for books of all disciplines, from arts to science.

I have an extensive knowledge of and experience in liaising with photo libraries, museums and art galleries, private collectors, photographers and other picture sources world-wide.

My experience also includes setting and maintaining appropriate budgets for images, working to strict deadlines, ensuring that all images are properly cleared for copyright and composing accurate acknowledgments lines and a sound knowledge of copyright law.

I speak fluent German and have a good working knowledge of French and some Italian.
